Where To Eat With Kids… Look No Further!

Miam Miam is one of our favourite go-to places for lunch or dinner. The food is always reliably good and now they even have super cute kids menu at Miam Miam – 5 dishes in total to be exact! Check out how cute some of them are. What Daniel tried: I bet fussy easters wouldn’t mind digging in too. Daniel had the Kitty Chicken Fingers (top right, S$8.90 with a drink) with tomato fried rice and loved it! He ate everything, including all…

This Is Where We Found Fresh Seafood In Singapore!

This is my first time to Pasarbella! I have been dying to visit but I just haven’t had the time. Well, it is easier to get to than I imagined. There are shuttle buses here which are really convenient. There are a lot of food options at the grandstand. The destination for this food adventure is Oceans of Seafood located inside Pasarbella to try their Vibrancy of Life yusheng.

Momiji Shabu Shabu Buffet @ Shaw Balestier

The newly established Momiji Shabu Shabu has opened its doors at Shaw Balestier. It is Singapore’s first-ever collagen hotpot buffet! Peter and I tried it the other day when they just opened and omg it was VERY GOOD! Here’s how the collagen looks like when the hotpot is not heated up yet. The divine soup base is made of collagen pudding, which is the culmination of six hours of simmering kampong chicken. Such long hours of simmering ensures that the chicken bones…

If you’re looking for some very fresh sushi that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket, then you must check out Ryoshi Sushi Ikeikemaru at Liang Court B1. Personally, I’ve never heard of this place until Peter passed by the other day and noticed a HUGE crowd queuing up for dinner. You know how Singapore works. Long q = something good, well, worth checking out at least. So this Vesak Day when the both of us were ready for dinner at…

            Ramen lovers fall in!

Are you a ramen lover? My husband is! I took him to a food tasting even the other day at Ramen Kagetsu Arashi. If you haven’t heard of them, they are ranked 3rd most popular ramen chain in Japan, and they are one of the largest ramen chain in Japan with more than 290 outlets worldwide. In Singapore alone, they have 3 outlets (B1 at The Cathay, Lvl 2 at Tampines 1 and Lvl 1 at Star Vista). We went…

Here’s updating with a food review today! :) You’ll be pleased to know that the newest French-Japanese Cafe called Miam Miam serves up some yummy food and is located at level 2 just outside BHG Bugis Junction! Marrying French techniques with Japanese inspired flavours, food preparation at Miam Miam follows a disciplined approach (for example, 110g of raw pasta to be cooked in boiling water for exactly 7.5 mins for that perfect al dente texture) to deliver a consistently excellent…

Feeling Like Some Yakitori? I Check Out Sumire Yakitori At Bugis!

Maybe you have walked past Sumire Yakitori House at Bugis Junction, well so did I and it was a pleasure to be checking their very first outlet here in Singapore, just the other day! Sumire is an established Yakitori restaurant in Tokyo. Serving authentic yakitori, homemade tamagoyaki and clear chicken broth ramen at reasonable prices! Their chefs are all sent to Japan for training before they set up the restaurant too! When dining here, expect to spend abut $30-$40 per…

Someone asked me this the other day and since I made effort to come up with some suggestions, I shall share it here too! :) Fine, I always find myself asking what on earth to eat at Orchard/Somerset area as well. So here you go! I won’t recommend you the obvious chain restaurants that are available almost everywhere (i.e.: Crystal Jade, Din Tai Feng, etc.) but here are some nice little places you might wanne consider! 1) Wild Honey |…
